IT Virtualization Solutions Consultant - Washington (DC), Charlotte (NC) and Philadelphis (PA)
As a Virtustream Consultant, you will work with the latest technologies to implement best in class solutions for Virtustream’s clients. You will provide onsite hardware/software consulting services and technical support (troubleshooting, performing upgrades, developing applications, providing training, performing Microsoft and VMware consulting work). You will support our sales team by assisting with pre-sales consulting and calls and perform work on Virtustream’s internal systems and projects.
To qualify, you must have:

 |
5+ years of relevant “hands-on” IT experience
|
| |
|
Strong VMware experience (ESX, HA, DRS, vSphere) |
| |
|
3+ years as a professional services consultant or engineer |
| |
|
3+ years in infrastructure architecture and design |
| |
|
3+ years storage, backup, archiving, etc |
| |
|
Current VMware (VCP) and Microsoft (MCSE) certifications |
| |
|
Strong TCP, LAN, and WAN knowledge |
| |
|
B.S./B.A./M.S. degree or equivalent technical training |
| |
|
Strong Communication (verbal / writing) skills with strong client focus and the ability to establish successful relationships |
| |
|
Ability to travel to assigned client sites within DC Metro area with occasional travel outside or area (aprox. 25%) |
| |
|
Flexibility and the ability to adapt to new environments quickly |
| |
|
Strong problem-solving skills |
