Michael Hoch
VP, Cloud Advisory Services
Michael Hoch is the Vice President of Cloud Advisory Services for North America. Michael has responsibility for the platform-agnostic professional services for customers considering using private, public, and hybrid cloud services to identify cost savings, business agility, and performance improvements of using cloud services and virtualization technologies.
Prior to Virtustream, Michael was Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives with Joyent, a cloud software and services provider, where he worked with strategic Fortune 500 accounts on their evaluation and transformation to a cloud environment.
Before Joyent, Michael was President and COO of RampRate Sourcing Advisors, where he developed and marketed a proprietary index for measuring region-specific market pricing for IT services (data center, collocation, network, managed services, cloud services) and matching client requirements with vendor capabilities in those regions.
Previously, Michael was a senior market analyst at Aberdeen Group, and a program manager for Harvard University’s Weatherhead Center for International Affairs.
