Peter Albers
Executive Vice President, Cloud Cover Services, North America

Peter Albers brings more than 18 years of experience in the IT consulting space to his role as Executive Vice President, Cloud Cover Services for Virtustream in North America. His experience with several leading systems integration, hosting and application maintenance companies lends well to his position, where he provides ongoing support for our cloud services group through a comprehensive managed service from core infrastructure through enterprise applications such as SAP, Oracle and Microsoft.

Prior to joining Virtustream, Peter was the CEO of Politec, a leading Latin American IT service provider. He was responsible for international operations and for driving the company’s Nearshore strategy by providing development, integration and maintenance services from its Centers of Excellence in Brazil and Argentina. Before that, Peter managed the SAP Practice for Adjoined Consulting, a management consulting, technology and outsourcing firm. He held the position throughout the acquisition of Adjoined by Kanbay and subsequently by Capgemini. At Capgemini, Peter was a Vice President on the Americas Leadership Team serving as the East BU Service Line leader for SAP.

Peter began his career at Plaut Consulting in Germany where he gained experience in the design and implementation of SAP Systems within multiple industries. He was also tasked with starting up Plaut’s Consulting and Hosting operations in Brazil. He later left Plaut to run the US division of Emeritis, a SAP HR consulting firm.
