Bethesda, MD - Tuesday, February 10, 2015 - ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation, a leading end-to-end IT solutions and services provider in Japan has selected Virtustream, the leading enterprise-class cloud software and services provider, to expand ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation’s cloud offerings with enterprise-class cloud solutions to support complex business applications. With this offering, ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation will meet the demand from large businesses for a secure and compliant way to run mission-critical, production applications such as SAP, Microsoft and Oracle in a public, private or hybrid clouds.

In 2008, ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation released TechnoCUVIC, a Cloud IaaS offering built to support complex business systems and provide backup and disaster recovery. The addition of new capabilities from Virtustream further enhances this service, enabling the migration and operation of the most complex business-critical applications to the cloud. 

The ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation Cloud service will use Virtustream’s patented Micro-VM (Virtustream µVM™) technology that allows optimal cloud workload management, application performance SLAs, multi-tenant efficiency, and a consumption-based pricing model for both legacy (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, etc.) and modern web-scale applications.
